Our primary product is a parasoy blend: that is, paraffin wax blended with soy. We offer a range of colours and scents, including unscented.

Because all our candles are handcrafted, colours may vary.

Well, there are a few reasons.

1. Pure soy is a very soft wax. It doesn't do well in the pillars and molds we use, and doesn't always ship well, especially in summer months to southern US states.
2. Paraffin holds both scent and colour better than soy or beeswax.
3. One a personal note, soy has an oily or greasy feel, and for the neurospicy among us, that can be a bit of a texture aversion issue.
4. Why not beeswax? Beeswax is wonderful stuff, but again, it doesn't carry scent or colour as well as paraffin, AND it's very expensive. A beeswax candle would have to sell for a minimum of $20 for a small (say 4 oz) pillar. We may branch out into beeswax at a later date, so keep watching the site for updates.

Yes, we offer the option for no soy on all our pillar/molded candles, and 100% soy on containers. And if a scent or colour is listed, but not currently in stock, we're more than happy to make one just for you.
